Speaking at the post-match presentation ceremony, Brook has heaped praise on the star Indian speedster for turning the game towards his team’s favour as he returned with the figures of 1/33 in four overs on a flat wicket at the Wankhede Stadium.

"He's (Bumrah) a very good bowler, arguably the best of all time at the minute. He's been a very good bowler for a long time,” Harry Brook said in the post-match presentation ceremony.

Moreover, Brook also hailed Axar Patel’s running catch to dismiss him on six-ball seven runs off Bumrah’s first ball of the second innings as England lost two early wickets for 38 runs in the powerplay while chasing a whopping 254-run target.

"The Indians fielded extremely well. That catch is arguably one of the best catches I've seen as well. So yeah, hats off to them,” he added.

Furthermore, Brook has come out in strong support of the head coach, Brendon McCullum, who has been under the radar since England’s Ashes defeat Down Under, stating that he is the best coach he has ever had in his career.

"I've said plenty of times he's the best coach I've ever had, best head coach I've ever had. The way that he speaks to everybody, the way that he has an aura in the dressing room, everybody looks up to him. The things that he did in the game as a player were unbelievable, and he just carried that into his coaching. The things that he's done over the four years that he's taken over have changed English cricket for hopefully the best. As I said, he's the best head coach I've ever had,” he concluded.
