What picture of Dhoni has gone viral?

When Dhoni attended an Army camp in Jodhpur, he was given a warm welcome by the troops despite his three-year international cricket retirement.MSD was driven across the camp in an open-top jeep while the soldiers cheered and begged the famous batsman for autographs.

During his tour, the captain of the Chennai franchise was also seen donning an Army outfit. After this trip, he would go back to Chennai to be ready for the forthcoming Indian T20 League match. After Chennai missed the knockout rounds last season for the first time in IPL history, Dhoni will be seeking to improve things for Chennai this year. The Indian T20 League of 2023 starts on March 31.

Dhoni has been involved with the armed forces for more than ten years and currently has the honorary title of Lieutenant Colonel in the 106 Para TA battalion of the Territorial Army's Parachute Regiment.

After India won the 2011 ODI World Cup, he took a two-month hiatus from playing cricket to serve in Kashmir's 106 TA Battalion (Para), where he was responsible for patrolling and guarding the area. Dhoni joined a battalion in Bengaluru in 2019 and trained for a few months through the Army's Parachute Regiment.

During the auction that took place earlier this year, Chennai landed Ben Stokes, the captain of England's Test team, and Kyle Jamieson, a New Zealand pacer. The tall Kiwi bowler, though, might not make it to the competition because of a back problem that has returned.
