The upcoming Asia Cup is all set to begin on 31 Aug 2023 and fans are eagerly waiting to see team India taking on Pakistan. As per the format, both will take on each other twice minimum. But, apart from that tournament, there are three other tournaments where both these teams will lock horns in the upcoming four months.

The Men’s emerging Asia Cup is going to begin on 14 July. So, India A and Pakistan A will lock horns on 16 July. Both these teams are in the same group B along with Nepal and the United States Emirates (UAE). Then, the Asian Games is all set to take place from 23 September where the Men and Women in Blue will be seen in action.

India are ready to take part in Cricket events in Asian Games for the first time

The Indian Cricket Board have already approved the participation of both the Men’s and Women’s team in this tournament. So, another India vs Pakistan rivalry awaits the fans. After that, the 50-over World Cup is all set to take place in India from 5 October. In that mega event, Rohit Sharma and his men will take on Babar Azam and his men on 15 October at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. So, there will be no shortage of action for the fans as these arch-rivals are all set to produce some outstanding games.

Recently, the Pakistan skipper, Babar Azam opened up about the hype around the upcoming World Cup clash between these teams. He said: “Pakistan cricket is being degraded. I've been hearing a lot. We are going to play in the World Cup, not to play against India. Barring India, there are other different teams whom we have to play against. If we can beat them, we will play in the final. Our focus is not on one team but all 10 of them. Our plan is to play well against all teams, win matches and then secure a ticket for the final.”
