In an exclusive video on the Bangalore website, Perry said: “A big hello and a big thank you for the opportunity to play with Bangalore in the first ever WTL. I’m so excited for this tournament and everything it means for the women’s game. It is kind of really cool because the twist of fate was that I was actually at the first-ever Bangalore game for men many years ago. Since then, Bangalore has always had a bit of a soft spot in my heart. I suppose it was this twist of fate and now being part of the first-ever women’s team is super cool.”
