Both Jos Buttler and Yuzvendra Chahal have been an integral part of the Rajasthan Royals (RR). In 2018, RR bought Buttler for INR 3.8 Cr and in 2022, they bought Chahal for INR 6.5 Cr. In the last edition of IPL, the star England batter won the Orange Cap for scoring the most runs while the star team India spinner won the Purple Cap for grabbing the most wickets.

However, these both players enjoy a great bond between them and in various videos, fans have seen it. Now, ahead of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) clash on 19 April 2023, an image has gone viral where Yuzvendra Chahal was seen in the arms of Jos Buttler. Seeing that, fans came up with some funny replies on social media.

In this ongoing IPL so far, both these players have shown decent form. In five matches, Chahal has picked up 11 wickets. While Buttler has scored 204 runs in five matches, at an average of 40.80. He has batted at a strike rate of 163.20 and notched up three fifties so far. Speaking of RR’s form this season, they are currently at the top of the table with four wins out of five games. Sanju Samson and his men will look to continue their momentum in Jaipue while facing LSG on 19 April.

Last year, RR finished as runners-up after getting defeated by Gujarat Titans (GT) in the final. Sanju Samson heaped high praises on the leg spinner this year. During the post-match press conference after the SRH clash, Samson said: “Him, being him, wearing this pink jersey, I think he definitely has a great role to play. I felt that he was very happy today (Sunday), the way he bowled and getting those wickets is definitely going to help him.” Regarding Buttler, Samson said: “His presence brings a lot of positive energy to the team".
