After losing the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia, Rohit Sharma faced a lot of criticism over his captaincy. With this loss, India lost their third chance to win a major trophy under his tenure. Before that, Rohit failed to win both the World Cup and Asia Cup in 2022. However, both the Test and ODI squads got announced on 23 June for the upcoming West Indies tour.
Rohit Sharam will be in action and he will be the skipper. Ahead of that, he is currently enjoying vacation. Several photos have gone viral so far and now, an image has gone viral where Rohit was seen with his wife, Ritika Sajdeh and other family members. Ritika shared that image on her Instagram story.

Rohit Sharma reportedly to sit with selectors after the two-match Test series against West Indies over his future as the Test skipper
Meanwhile, while speaking on RevSportz, the former Aussie skipper, Michael Clarke claimed that Rohit is a very good captain and fans need to keep faith in him in the upcoming days. He said: “I would be keeping the faith with Rohit. I think he is a very good captain. I like his aggressive approach, he looks to be as positive as he can be. He has had a lot of success as a leader. Look at his IPL record for Mumbai (Indians). Just because India didn’t win the Test World Championship doesn’t mean Rohit is not the right guy to lead India.”
He also said that it is high time for keeping stability within the team as the 50-over World Cup is all set to take place later this year. “The fact that India qualified again, they are the only team to make consecutive finals, says a lot about how they have played their Test cricket over the past four years. It is also a very important time for stability with the One-Day World Cup right around the corner,” Clarke further added.
