Earlier, the fans were not happy as the former Indian skipper and senior batter Virat Kohli was not in the picture posted by the board that included both men and women Indian cricketers.

Later on, the fans also took a jibe at the manufacturers over the prices of the newly-launched jerseys by the Indian cricket board and manufacturers.

Here's how the Indian fans reacted to the new jersey:

According to the official website of the manufacturers, the jersey has been launched in two player editions of that very kit – Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli edition, the price of the kit goes to INR 4,299. Whereas, there are two other editions also as the fan and player which are being sold at INR 1,999 and INR 3,999 respectively.

After looking at the prices, fans went on to make fun of the manufacturers with their witty sense of humor on Twitter.

The reason behind the fans being upset is quite a bit justified as it is not affordable for everyone who happens to like it. It is being said because giant football clubs including the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United, and a few others are providing their kits’ editions at lower prices in comparison to the Indian jersey.

Coming back to the discussion of cricket, then the Indians will face the arch-rivals Pakistan in their first match of the campaign during the 20-20 World Cup 2022. Other than Babar & co. India will also lock horns with South Africa and Bangladesh in the Group 2 of the tournament.

India is all set to host the Australians for the upcoming three-match T20I series commencing on the 20th of September, tomorrow with the first match in Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali.
