The ongoing first of the two-match Test series between India and Bangladesh has witnessed a lot of controversies. Apart from the cricket fans are not much pleased with the umpiring level during this match between KL Rahul's men and the hosts. On the first day of the match, the 'bail' incident with Shreyas Iyer off Ebadot Hossain attracted the headlines of social media.
Now, on the third day of the match, the drama went an extra mile ahead as DRS stopped functioning when the Bangladesh team asked for a review following an appeal against Shubman Gill. Bangla cricketers were extremely shocked following this incident it could've been a very crucial wicket for them to make a comeback in the match against the visitors.
A section of cricket fans has also questioned the management of umpiring after this incident. They took to Twitter and termed it as a defining moment that might hamper the result of the match.
Here's how fans reacted to DRS malfunction:

is this for real!! Feels bad for Bangladesh.
Agree that technical failure occurs, but imagine this kind of failure hampering the result of an important match.
Surely @ICC should look into the matter.#BANvsIND
DRS is down so the third umpire is unable to check the decision against Gill

When DRS isn't available i guess the team asking for it should be given an additional or bonus DRS review to keep the game fair. What do you think? #AskTheExpert #INDvBAN #DRS
