Irfan Pathan faces heat from Pakistan cricketing fraternity for his previous 'neighbours lack grace' remarks following India's defeat against England

So, the event is over for the men in blue and they have been knocked out of the tournament following an embarrassing defeat by 10 wickets against England in the second semi-final.

Everyone in the subcontinent’s cricketing fraternity who was waiting for a dream final between India and Pakistan is saddened on the loss of the men in blue and their elimination from the eighth edition of the tournament.

Meanwhile, former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan is on the receiving end of the heat from the Pakistan cricket fraternity for his previous tweet mentioning‘ neighbors lack grace’ remarks for the Pakistan team. The massive 10-wicket defeat went on to give a chance to Pakistan fans to come up with some hard-hitting replies. This list of trolls was also joined by former legendary Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar.

“Padosiyon jeet ati jaati rehti hai, lekin GRACE apke bas ki baat nahi hai (Neighbors, winning or losing is temporary, but grace is not your cup of tea),” reads Irfan Pathan’s tweet that he posted following the result of the first semi-final between Pakistan and New Zealand. Pakistan fans found themselves in the right spot to give a reply to Irfan Pathan after India’s defeat.

Although it was not only the fans who went hard on Irfan, former ace speedster, Shoaib Akhtar also joined the party to take a dig at Irfan Pathan and came up with a sarcastic tweet.

Talking about cricket, now Pakistan will lock horns with Jos Buttler’s England in the final of the eighth edition of the tournament. Notably, Pakistan would be appearing as the first Asian team in the final of the 20-20 World Cup after a wait of eight years since India played against Sri Lanka in the final of the 20-20 World Cup 2014 where the former ended up as the runners-up in the tournament.
