After wrapping up the three-match T20I series on July 23 (Wednesday), Ireland Women and Zimbabwe Women will shift focus to a two-match ODI series that promises to offer more competitive cricket. The 50-over format presents both sides with a valuable opportunity to test combinations and strengthen their squads for future assignments.

Ireland Women enter the ODI leg as clear favourites, given their superior form and experience. They have seasoned campaigners in their line-up and players like Gaby Lewis, who is their captain, Leah Paul, Orla Prendergast and Arlene Kell,y among others in the squad are always hungry to make an impact for the team.
For Zimbabwe Women, this series is a great opportunity to make a statement by at least putting up a fight against a more established side in Ireland. Their captain, Chipo Mugeri Tiripano, is their best player and the team will be looking up to her to lead from the front. However, their batting is a main concern and to last in a longer white-ball format will be a massive challenge for them as well. However, the visitors will be eager to put up a spirited team effort to challenge the Irish in their own backyard.
As far as the ODI series is concerned, both matches will be played at the picturesque Civil Service Cricket Club in Belfast. The games are scheduled to take place on July 26 and 28 and will commence at 3:15 PM IST
