IPL: DC vs LSG head-to-head record

Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants have fought against each other in a total of five games so far and the contest is quite close between them. The Super Giants have taken a slight edge over the Capitals as they lead the contest with three games in their favour while Delhi is not too far behind with two wins to their name. 

Delhi Capitals, previously known as Delhi Daredevils, have been able to qualify for the playoffs six times out of the 17 editions they have been a part of, whereas Lucknow Super Giants, which got inducted recently in 2022 have qualified for the playoffs twice. Delhi has been able to play just one final so far in their journey, in 2020, where they were beaten by Mumbai Indians. Lucknow, on the other hand, has not been able to play any finals so far.

The two teams went toe-to-toe against each other for the first time in 2022 at the DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai, at a neutral venue. Delhi was restricted to a total of 149 runs and Quinton de Cock made it look an easy win for the Super Giants, owing to his knock of 80 runs. Lucknow went on to win the next two games as well, continuing with their dominance over Delhi.

Until the start of the year 2024, Lucknow was unbeatable against Delhi but it all changed that year. Delhi Capitals overthrew the winning streak and won back-to-back matches in 2024 to counter Lucknow Super Giants.

The home game for Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley has been in their favour, although it has been just one game. The two matches at the Ekana Stadium, the home stadium for Lucknow have been equal for both as they both have won a match each. The two teams have also played two games at neutral venues which have been completely dominated by Lucknow with two out of two wins.
