IPL: DC vs GT head-to-head record

Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans have faced each other in a total of five games and Delhi has come out a more dominant side as they have won three of these encounters while the Titans are not too far behind with two wins. Contrary to the results, Delhi Capitals have never been able to lift the trophy, reaching the finals just once in 2020. On the other hand, Gujarat Titans were champions in their very first season and were runners-up in the next season too, missing their second trophy by a whisker. 

The contest between the two sides is quite close with both the teams giving tough competition to each other. The first game between the two sides was played in 2022, which was the lone match they had against each other that year where the Titans emerged victorious by 14 runs with a brilliant innings of 84 by Shubhman Gill and a bowling masterclass from Lockie Ferguson who took 4 wickets with him being crowned the Player of the Match. 

Gujarat Titans were also able to win the next one over Delhi by six wickets, continuing their dominance. However, this is where the Titans' reign over the Capitals ends. Since then, the Capitals have been unbeaten and have been defeating the Titans in three back-to-back matches. The two teams faced each other twice in the previous season where Delhi kept their calm and were winners on both occasions.

Of the two matches at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, both the teams have won a match each neutralising the home advantage for the Delhi team. These teams have played one game at a neutral venue which was won by the Gujarat Titans. The home advantage has not turned out for the Gujarat team as well, as they have not won a single game at their home against Delhi Capitals.
