After winning the toss, LSG skipper Rishabh Pant asked the home team to bat first, and MI posted a huge total of 215/7 on the board in 20 overs. Ryan Rickelton gave them a perfect start by adding 58 off 32, while Suryakumar Yadav showed his consistency once again, scoring 54 off 28 balls at a strike rate of 192.85.

Rohit Sharma added 12 off five balls, while Jacks contributed 29 off 21. In the end, cameos from Naman Dhir (25* off 11) and debutant, South African all-rounder Corbin Bosch (20 off 10), were crucial in posting that total.

For LSG, all eyes were on the return of their young star pacer, Mayank Yadav. In the last season, he was in the headlines due to his raw pace, but since October 2024, he has been sidelined due to a back injury.

Let’s take a look at LSG’s Chase
