Let’s take a look at MI’s chase

Chasing 197, MI openers Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton started. Rohit began with two boundaries, raising hopes of a big innings, but Mohammed Siraj bowled a beauty to castle his stumps, dismissing him for just eight runs. Rickelton also fell cheaply for six. Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma then built a 62-run partnership to stabilise the innings.

Tilak scored 39 off 36 balls, while Suryakumar made 48 off 28, but both were removed by Prasidh Krishna, who used the pitch conditions expertly. Hardik Pandya struggled with the bat, managing only 11 off 17 before falling to Kagiso Rabada. MI could only manage 160/6 in 20 overs, suffering their second consecutive defeat.
