The 70th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was played between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Hence, Noor Ahmad of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) continues to be on the top of the list with 24 wickets to his name after 14 matches. He will get at least one game to go past Noor and secure the purple cap. Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, and Sai Kishore are the only other bowlers who have a chance to win the purple cap this season.
