In the MI vs LSG clash, Jasprit Bumrah took four wickets and eventually became the highest-ever wicket-taker for MI, surpassing former MI legend Lasith Malinga. Trent Boult also picked up four wickets, which helped him break into the top 10 of the Purple Cap leaderboard.

In the DC vs RCB game, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was outstanding with a three-wicket spell, and Josh Hazlewood continued his dream form by adding two more wickets to his tally. Hence, the Aussie pacer of RCB is now the Purple Cap holder with 18 wickets in 10 matches. In second place is Gujarat Titans’ (GT) Prasidh Krishna with 16 wickets in eight games.

Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) Afghan spinner, Noor Ahmad, is in third place with 14 wickets in nine games. Then, with 13 wickets each, the next three places are taken by Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) Harshal Patel (eight games), RCB’s Krunal Pandya (10 games), and MI’s Trent Boult (10 games), respectively.
