Rajasthan Royals hosted Mumbai Indians in the 50th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Thursday (May 1). The five-time champions extended their winning streak to six matches this season with a dominating 100-run win over the home team.

At the same time, they also knocked the Royals out of the tournament. With only six points to show for their efforts after 11 matches, RR will not be able to make it to the playoffs this season. With MI jumping to the top of the table, RCB and PBKS have slipped a spot each to second and third respectively. However, both teams have an extra game in hand and have a chance to trump the five-time champions by winning their next respective matches.
