Punjab Kings have sealed their place in the top two in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). They thumped five-time champions in the 69th match of the season at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, chasing down the target of 185 runs with nine balls and seven wickets in hand.

In the end, it was Shreyas Iyer who remained unbeaten on 26 runs off 16 deliveries to take his team over the line. With this win, Punjab Kings have jumped to the top of the points table and they have secured the top two finish as well.
In the league stage, PBKS won nine, lost four and one of their matches ended in no result. Overall, the Shreyas Iyer-led side has 19 points to show for their efforts and they will be in action in the qualifier 1 on May 29 at Mullanpur which is also the home ground for Punjab Kings.
