This victory has confirmed that MI are the fourth team to qualify for the playoffs this season. Delhi Capitals, after winning their first four matches, have been knocked out as they lost steam after the other gained momentum.
Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians are the top four teams in IPL 2025. However, the exact order will be decided in the upcoming games with several teams left with two more matches yet. After their performance against DC, it is very much possible for even MI to make it to top two if certain results go their way.
