IPL 2025: Updated points table after KKR vs SRH Match 15

In Match 15, KKR batted first and posted an imposing total of 200/6 in 20 overs. Venkatesh Iyer played a crucial role with a brilliant 60 off 29 balls, while Angkrish Raghuvanshi contributed a steady 50 off 32 balls. Ajinkya Rahane also played a vital knock, scoring 38 off 27 deliveries. Their collective batting effort ensured that KKR set a challenging target for SRH.

SRH’s bowling unit had a tough time containing the KKR batters. Kamindu Mendis managed to pick up 1/4 in one over, while Zeeshan Ansari and Mohammed Shami took one wicket each, but they couldn’t stop KKR from reaching a big total.

In response, SRH’s batting lineup collapsed under pressure, getting bowled out for just 120 in 16.4 overs. Heinrich Klaasen was the only notable performer for SRH, scoring 33 off 21 balls, while Kamindu Mendis added 27 off 20 deliveries. Nitish Kumar Reddy chipped in with 19 runs, but their contributions were not enough to challenge KKR’s total.

KKR’s bowling attack, led by Varun Chakravarthy and Vaibhav Arora, dismantled SRH’s batting order. Chakravarthy bowled an exceptional spell, taking 3 wickets for 22 runs in 4 overs. Arora, who was named Player of the Match, delivered an impressive 3/29 in his 4-over spell, while Andre Russell also contributed with 2/21 in 1.4 overs.

With this victory, KKR has now secured two wins in four matches and improved its Net Run Rate (NRR) slightly to +0.070. On the other hand, SRH has struggled in the tournament so far, with just one win in four games and a poor NRR of -1.612, placing them at the bottom of the standings.

The latest points table reflects the current competition among teams. Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC) remain unbeaten with two wins each in two matches, while teams like RCB and GT continue to battle for higher positions. Meanwhile, teams like CSK, RR, and LSG are still looking for consistency as the league progresses.
