IPL 2025: Updated Orange Cap table after RR vs GT Match 47

Fans witnessed a historic knock from Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) 14-year-old sensation, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who smashed a 35-ball century against Gujarat Titans (GT) in Jaipur yesterday. He became the second-fastest centurion in IPL history and the fastest Indian to achieve the feat.

RR went on to defeat GT by eight wickets, chasing down the 210-run target with 25 balls to spare. Alongside Vaibhav’s incredible 101 off 38 balls, Yashasvi Jaiswal also played a crucial role with an unbeaten 70 off 40 balls at a strike rate of 175.00.

For GT, skipper Shubman Gill led from the front with a well-compiled 84 off 50 balls, while Jos Buttler added a brisk 50* off just 26 balls at a strike rate of 192.30. Sai Sudharsan provided a solid start, scoring 39 off 30, which was enough to help him regain the Orange Cap for the time being. He now leads the run-scoring charts with 456 runs in nine matches.

Trailing him is Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) Virat Kohli in second place with 443 runs in 10 innings, followed by Mumbai Indians’ (MI) Suryakumar Yadav, who is third with 427 runs in 10 innings. Jaiswal’s unbeaten 70 has taken him to fourth place with 426 runs from 10 innings, while Jos Buttler’s knock moved him up to fifth with 406 in nine matches.
