IPL 2025: Updated Orange Cap table after PBKS vs DC Match 66

It was yet another match in the Indian Premier League (IPL) where the batters had fun on a good pitch and more than 400 runs were scored by the two teams in action. Punjab Kings locked horns against the Delhi Capitals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur in the 66th match of IPL 2025 and once again, a 200+ score was chased down in the last-over thriller.

Shreyas Iyer was the top scorer for PBKS as they scored 206 runs in their 20 overs. The captain led from the front, smashing 53 runs off 34 balls with five fours and two sixes to his name. With this effort, he jumped to the 10th place in the list of the players with the most runs in IPL 2025 so far.

Iyer has now scored 488 runs in 13 matches at an average of 48.8 and a strike rate of 172.43 with five fifties to his name. KL Rahul played a crucial role in the successful run-chase for the Delhi Capitals. 

Opening the innings, he scored 35 runs off just 21 balls to take his tally this season to 539 runs in 13 matches at an average of 53.9 and a strike rate of almost 150 and jump to seventh place on the list. Sai Sudharsan of Gujarat Titans remains the Orange Cap holder after match 66 with 638 runs so far.
