IPL 2025: Ranking the top 3 RR players of the season

The Pink Army and Rajasthan Royals started the new year following a Mega Auction, but they haven't had a year to be proud of. The Rajasthan Royals were only able to win four games in the tournament after rebuilding their team in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction. Even though they won't be proud of this performance, the fact that they lost up to five close games indicates that they made a few strong contributions. Now let's examine those contributors.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi

Vaibhav Suryavanshi was one Rajasthan Royals players who stood out during the season. The 14-year-old, who was purchased at the mega-auction for 1.1 crore, did not make the starting lineup for the tournament's opening round. But Suryavanshi seized the chance when Sanju Samson's injury freed up a spot at the top.

When the southpaw played GT, he faced bowlers twice his age and scored the fastest century by an Indian in league history. Additionally, he had a score of more than 150 runs to his name and averaging 36, he amassed 252 runs in seven innings. Since Suryavanshi is a product for the future, RR should definitely keep him on board.

Yashasvi Jaiswal

Yashasvi Jaiswal has been in top form for the Rajasthan Royals as he has yet another brilliant season with the bat. He was the top scorer from the team and found his way among the highest run scorers of the tournament this season.

Playing 14 games, he smashed 559 runs at a strike rate of 159.71 and had six fifties to his name. He also averaged 43 this season. A straight third season from him where he has crossed the 400 runs mark, keeping his record from 2023.

Jofra Archer

The seasoned player was signed by RR at a massive 12.50 crores during the mega-auction, but he had the worst start in IPL history as he let up the highest runs ever leaked by an RR bowler against SRH.

But the right-arm seamer slowly got back to his old form. This season, the 30-year-old has taken 11 wickets in 12 innings with an economy of less than 10.
