IPL 2025: Punjab Kings (PBKS) full schedule

The IPL 2025 schedule was officially announced by the BCCI and IPL GC on Sunday, February 16, 2025. The tournament will kick off with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) taking on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Kolkata on March 22.

Punjab Kings (PBKS) entered the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) mega auction with the largest purse and have made some important purchases ahead of the next season.

Shreyas Iyer, who won the IPL with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) last year, will head PBKS this season after being acquired for Rs 26.75 crore in the mega auction.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Arshdeep Singh were the other major Indian acquisitions, while Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, and Marco Jansen provide explosive overseas firepower. The franchise retains Shashank Singh and Prabhsimran Singh.

The Punjab Kings will play their opening match of the season on March 25 in Ahmedabad against the Gujarat Titans.

PBKS's home games will be split between Mullanpur Stadium and Dharamsala, with the latter hosting three games near the end of the season.

Each team will play 14 matches throughout the league phase, for a total of 70 matches. The playoffs will run from May 20 to May 25. Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator will be held on May 20 and 21, respectively, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

The competition will end at the historic Eden Gardens, with Qualifier 2 and the final in Kolkata.
