IPL 2025: Orange cap updated list after CSK vs MI Match 3

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Mumbai Indians (MI) by four wickets in the third match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on March 23 (Sunday). Led by Ruturaj Gaikwad, CSK joined Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) as the winners in their respective season-openers. Earlier on Sunday, SRH registered a dominant 44-run win over Rajasthan Royals (RR), setting the stage for an intense battle in IPL 2025.

Opting to bowl first at Chepauk, CSK’s spinners dominated the proceedings, restricting MI to 155/9 in 20 overs. Rachin Ravindra (65*) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (53) then ensured a comfortable chase, sealing the win with five balls to spare. Meanwhile, earlier in the day, SRH produced a historic performance at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, amassing a mammoth 286/6 in 20 overs. Despite Sanju Samson and Dhruv Jurel scoring fifties, RR could only reach 242/6, losing by 44 runs.
