IPL 2025: Mumbai Indians (MI) full schedule

Mumbai Indians (MI) are set to begin their IPL 2025 campaign with an away clash against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Chepauk. After a disappointing 2024 season, where they finished last with just eight points from 14 games, questions arose over Hardik Pandya’s captaincy.

Many fans even called for Rohit Sharma to return as captain, and rumours suggested MI might not retain their five-time title-winning leader. However, MI have confirmed that Rohit remains with the team, and despite last season’s struggles, Hardik will continue leading the Blue and Gold brigade.

MI’s first two matches will be away fixtures. Their first home game at Wankhede Stadium will be against defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on 31st March. This will be followed by matches against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), and Delhi Capitals (DC).

After that, MI will play two back-to-back home fixtures against last season’s runners-up, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and CSK. They will then face SRH away before playing LSG at home. MI will also play Rajasthan Royals (RR) away, and then, they will host Gujarat Titans (GT) followed by their last away fixture against Punjab Kings (PBKS).

They will finish their league stage with a home game against Delhi Capitals on May 15, 2025. Apart from two matches—LSG at home and PBKS away, which are scheduled for 3:30 PM IST—all other fixtures will be played at 7:30 PM IST.
