The IPL 2025 schedule has been announced with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) taking on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the opening encounter on March 22 at Eden Gardens. The 2025 edition will be the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League which will commence on March 22 with the Final scheduled on May 25 at Eden Gardens.

The Indian cash-rich league, which stretches for more than two months, will pit some top players from the world in 10 teams in 74 matches over 65 days.
Lucknow Super Giants are all set to participate in their fourth edition having debuted in 2022. They have qualified for the playoffs in both seasons in 2022 and 2023, while they finished seventh in 2024.
This year, LSG will be led by Rishabh Pant, who was signed by the franchise for a record price of Rs 27 crore. LSG bought a few other notable players – David Miller for Rs 7.5 crore, Avesh Khan for Rs 9.75 crore, Mitchell Marsh for Rs 3.4 crore and Akash Deep for Rs 8 crore. The Lucknow-based franchise retained Nicholas Pooran, Ravi Bishnoi, Mayank Yadav, Ayush Badoni, and Mohsin Khan ahead of IPL 2025.
The Giants will look to turn their fortunes around and try to win their first title in 2025 after a disappointing run in 2024.
LSG will begin their campaign against Delhi Capitals in IPL 2025 in Vizag on March 24. They will remain on the road for their first two matches, before hosting Punjab Kings in their first home match on April 1. Here is the complete schedule of LSG for IPL 2025.
