RCB spent INR 12.5 to pick Josh Hazlewood at the Mega Auction. Hazlewood sustained a side strain during the Border Gavaskar Trophy, which ruled him out of the Champions Trophy. Now, his participation in the IPL is doubtful.

KKR picked Anrich Nortje for INR 6.5 crore. It is the second time KKR bought Nortje. The first time KKR picked him was in the 2019 auction, and Nortje missed the season due to a shoulder injury.

Gerald Coetzee also missed the Champions Trophy, and his participation is still in doubt due to the injury that he sustained. Harry Brook has already pulled himself out of this edition, citing the need to prepare for his commitments with the national team.

Mitchell Marsh is another Australian player who missed playing in the Champions Trophy. Lucknow Super Giants bought Marsh during the Mega Auction. Mayank Yadav sustained a lumber stress injury during the series against Bangladesh last year and has been out of action since then. He is also a part of LSG, and Mayank missed a few matches for the franchise last season.

Mumbai Indians picked Allah Ghazanfar and Lizaad Williams in the IPL 2025 Auction. Both the players have been ruled out of the tournament. Mujeeb Ur Rahman has replaced Ghaznafar, while Corbin Bosch will take Williams’ place in MI’s squad.
