Bowlers were a hot commodity in the mega auctions for IPL 2025 and garnered crores of money.

Here are 5 bowlers we think you should keep a close watch on for the IPL 2025.
1. Jasprit Bumrah
The best bowler to have existed in modern cricket does not seem an exaggeration but an understatement for this cricketer. He has been the most complete bowler you can find who has every weapon in his arsenal, and most of all, his cricketing brain to use the correct weapon at the correct time.
He has been absolutely phenomenal at whatever stage and format he has played, whether it's for his IPL side or the nation. He makes his place in any team that would be made currently and surely is a bowler you need to keep your eyes on.
2. Harshal Patel
The purple cap winner of the 2024 edition, Harshal Patel very well, might also be the winner of the 2025 edition. He was brilliant scalping 24 wickets with a slightly higher economy of 9.73 in 14 games.
He has been producing similar results in the last few editions with the best results coming out in the year 2021. Playing just 15 games in the season, he had picked up as many as 32 wickets. This brought him the glory of taking the most wickets in a season alongside Dwayne Bravo who did the same but had taken 18 matches to do so.
3. Varun Chakravarthy
The IPL 2025 defending champions will be the Kolkata Knight Riders. Varun Chakravarthy finished as the league's second-highest wicket-taker when they won the championship the previous year. In addition to the IPL, Varun Chakarvarthy has returned to form for the Indian team in the T20 format and is now one of the most effective bowlers on overseas pitches as well.
The 33-year-old's recent success in international cricket will put him in the public eye once more and can very well be the winner of the purple cap this time.
4. Arshdeep Singh
Team India was blessed last year to have two of the best pacers in the T20 format playing together which ultimately got them the T20 World Cup as well. Arshdeep has been sensational with his performances for the team, scalping wickets at the top, and in the middle as well as taking wickets at the death.
He had good stats in the IPL last year but had even better numbers in International cricket. He would be expected to continue with his red-hot form in the IPL 2025.
5. T Natarajan
A name that has seemed to get lost in the whirlpool of talents, Natarajan has continued to perform despite not receiving as much attention. Precision has been best used by him apart from Jasprit Bumrah who can use yorkers at will and choke batters.
He had a wonderful last season as well where he had taken away 19 wickets in 14 games. He had a slightly higher economy of 9.05 but he had to bowl the difficult overs, especially in the high-scoring encounters of the Hyderabad pitch.
