The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), who entered the IPL 2025 auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, did so with a carefully thought-out budget. LSG participated in a tough bidding war at the auction, especially for wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant, who was purchased for an incredible INR 27 crores.

1. Rishabh Pant

He missed the IPL 2023 due to his car accident but made a big comeback in IPL 2024, where he scored 446 runs in 13 matches with 3 fifties and a strike rate of 155.40. Pant was also part of India's T20 World Cup 2024 win.
