Riyan Parag vs Krunal Pandya

Riyan Parag has been appointed as the skipper of the side yet again after Samson has been ruled out for this game due to an injury. He would be hoping to make an impact with his bat too. Krunal Pandya is having a great season, where he has been scalping wickets regularly for his team.

Parag is a good batter against spin, but Pandya has done well to restrict him so far. From 40 deliveries, he has given away just 42 runs against him, which includes just two boundaries and a six. Although he has not got him out, he also has not let him score freely.

Yashasvi Jaiswal vs Josh Hazlewood

Yashasvi Jaiswal, after a not-so-good start to the season, has looked back in form once again with three back-to-back half centuries. Josh Hazlewood, too, has been having a great season, where he has already taken 12 wickets.

When it comes to the rivalry between the two, Jaiswal has dominated the proceedings so far, but Hazlewood got him out in their last outing this season. Off 21 balls, Jaiswal has slammed Hazlewood for 55 runs. In total, he has lost his wicket twice to him.

Virat Kohli vs Sandeep Sharma

Virat Kohli, on yet another occasion, is having another phenomenal season of IPL, where he is scoring runs for fun while remaining unbeaten as well. Sandeep Sharma, on the other hand, has had a mixed season where he has bowled in parts but has let the match slip on multiple occasions as well.

Sandeep, with his swing bowling, has been dominating Virat Kohli. He has bowled 81 deliveries to him in 17 innings, where he has given away 116 runs but has taken Virat’s wicket on seven of those occasions. He could not get him out in the last game though.
