Shreyas Iyer vs Sunil Narine

Shreyas Iyer has been in red-hot form and has already hit three half-centuries in five matches, where he missed out on his century twice. Sunil Narine came in with a great spell in the last match, where he took three wickets and would be deadly to face.

Iyer has been a great batter against spin and has always dominated it, but against Narine, he has not been able to do so much. Although he has lost his wicket just once, he has been able to score just 42 runs off 35 balls. Narine has done a great job in restricting his runs.

Ajinkya Rahane vs Arshdeep Singh

Ajinkya has been leading the side from the front with his performances. He is the man in form for Kolkata, having already smashed two fifties. Arshdeep Singh, on the other hand, has been doing a good job for Punjab too, taking seven wickets so far in the five games.

The right-handed batter has traditionally struggled against this left-arm pacer. Of the 16 balls he has faced so far, he has been able to score just 21 runs with the help of two boundaries but has lost his wickets twice in the process.

Glenn Maxwell vs Varun Chakravarthy

Glenn Maxwell is having another horrendous IPL season where he has just not able to get things right and is getting out cheaply in every game. The same cannot be said for Varun, though. He has been doing his usual great job and has scalped eight wickets already.

Initially a great batter against spin, Maxwell has started to struggle against it. Varun has been dominating him, too. He has faced 30 deliveries from him where he has been able to score just 46 runs while losing his wicket thrice in the process.
