Nicholas Pooran vs Matheesha Pathirana

Nicholas Pooran has been in a monstrous form, taking the top spot in the tournament's leading run scorer list so far. He has become a wicket that is very hard to take for any team. Pathirana has been in pretty good form as well, taking wickets at regular intervals.

Chennai, however, might have found the solution to Pooran in Pathirana. He has struggled against him, faced 25 deliveries from five innings and has scored just 25 runs. He has lost his wicket on four of these occasions and has been dominated by the Sri Lankan pacer.

Mitchell Marsh vs Ravindra Jadeja

Mitchell Marsh has been in fantastic form this season, scoring heavily and at a monstrous strike rate. He also finds himself near to his teammate, Nicholas Pooran, in the list of leading run-scorers. Jadeja, on the other hand, is not having too great of an IPL season.

Overall, in the IPL, Jadeja has flexed more control over Marsh, though. He has bowled 18 deliveries, given just 15 runs with just a single boundary, and taken his wicket once. He would be hoping to continue his dominance.

Shivam Dube vs Avesh Khan

Shivam Dube has been a core member of the Chennai set-up in the last few years and played a key role in them winning the trophy back in 2023. Avesh Khan, similarly, has been a core member of the Lucknow set-up ever since their inception in the tournament.

The contest between the two has been a complete one-sided affair so far, where Avesh has completely taken the lead. Of the four balls he has bowled to him so far, he has taken his wicket twice and given just one run. Dube seems to be struggling against the Lucknow speedster.
