Rishabh Pant was chosen by the Lucknow Super Giants at the mega auctions ahead of IPL 2025 and was made the leader of the pack as well. While the team has been performing well, he has not been able to contribute much with the bat. Varun Chakravarthy, as usual, has been extremely good with the ball for KKR and has been doing a good job.

Between the two, Pant has faced 30 balls from Varun in six innings, where he has scored just 31 runs and has lost his wicket thrice to him. Already in bad form, he might face extra challenges in this inning.

Nicholas Pooran vs Sunil Narine

Nicholas Pooran and Sunil Narine, both have represented the West Indies in International Cricket and surely have played a lot of cricket together, identifying each other’s strengths as well as weaknesses.

In total, Pooran has faced 150 balls from Narine, and he has been able to score 171 runs off them with the help of eight boundaries and sixes each. He has got out to him just twice in the process. With Pooran being in excellent form, the match-up is going to be exciting.

Rinku Singh vs Avesh Khan

Rinku Singh has been an integral part of the Kolkata set-up for quite some years now, and he has probably been one of the best finishers they have ever had. Avesh Khan, for the Lucknow Super Giants, is coming back after a long break due to injury and was decently good in the last match he played against Mumbai.

Rinku has faced eight deliveries from Avesh, where he has smashed him for 21 runs with the help of a boundary and two sixes with a strike rate of 262.5, without ever getting out to him. Rinku has been dominating the proceedings,and with him getting his touch back in the last game, it would be interesting in this match.
