Abhishek Sharma vs Varun Chakravarthy

Abhishek has scored over 300 runs so far this season, but he hasn't been able to do so consistently. Conversely, Varun Chakravarthy has had yet another outstanding season and is currently among the top wicket-takers in the league.

It is clear that, so far, Abhishek has been winning the conflict between the two. He has faced 14 of his deliveries over the last three years and hammered him for 28 runs, including three sixes and a boundary, while only being removed once.

Travis Head vs Sunil Narine

Despite having a horrible 2025 season, Travis Head has likely been the most threatening hitter in the Indian Premier League in recent years. Since Sunil Narine has been making good contributions with both the bat and the ball, the situation hasn't really been the same.

Head has only faced 12 deliveries from Narine, but he has only scored 15 runs off of them, which is a very small total given his stature. Narine hasn't been able to get him out yet, but he's certainly kept him quiet. It would be interesting to watch them compete in person.

Andre Russell vs Mohammad Shami

This season, Andre Russell didn't even appear to be his shadow when he was batting, but he looks to have rediscovered his groove in the last few games. Mohammad Shami too started the season in an extremely bad fashion, but has not been able to catch up till now.

Russell has dominated the game between these two, making it rather one-sided. After facing 40 balls from him, he blasted him for 99 runs, hitting 12 massive sixes and four boundaries. In this format, Shami has only managed to get him out twice.
