IPL 2023: Predicting 3 Most Run Scorers in Today's CSK vs SRH Match

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are going to take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on 21 April 2023 in the ongoing IPL. The stage is getting ready at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk for the 29th match of the tournament. However, CSK are coming off after a thrilling victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

But, SRH are coming off after a defeat against Mumbai Indians (MI). Speaking of their form, CSK have won three out of their five games. While SRH have won just two out of their five games. Meanwhile, SRH are still winless at Chepauk in the history of IPL. So, another tough test might await them.

However, so far in five matches, he has two single-digit scores only. Apart from that, Devon Conway has scored 47 vs LSG, 50 vs RR, and 83 vs RCB.

In five matches, this Kiwi batter has scored 181 runs, at an average of 36.20. Against RCB, he won the Player of the Match award for scoring 83 runs off 45 balls, including six fours and six sixes. So, the home crowd will love to see Devon Conway hit his third consecutive fifty-plus score against SRH.      

2. Aiden Markram

This Protea batter has enjoyed a great run of form with the bat in recent months across all three formats. So, all eyes were on Aiden Markram when he finally joined SRH in the second game. However, his first match did not go well in this IPL as Markram got out on a golden duck against LSG.

Then, he showed some glimpses in the next two matches. Against PBKS, he scored 37* runs, and against KKR, he scored 50 runs off just 26 balls. However, in the last match against MI, he got a start but got out on 21 runs. So, Aiden Markram can make a comeback against CSK. He even has the ability to play spinners better.   

3. Shivam Dube

This batter surprised everyone with his blistering knock against RCB in the last game. Shivam Dube scored 52 runs off 27 balls, including two fours and five sixes. In five matches so far, Dube has scored 134 runs, at a strike rate of 139.58. However, the CSK skipper MS Dhoni has shown a lot of faith in him.

In most of the matches, CSK sent Shivam Dube at number four ahead of more experience batters like Moeen Ali and Ravindra Jadeja. However, he repaid that faith against RCB, and now, fans will hope for more such innings from him in the upcoming matches. Apart from one match, in all matches he got starts but failed to score big. So, the SRH clash might be a great opportunity for this Southpaw batter.
