After a magnificent opening game between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) in Dubai, the caravan moves to Abu Dhabi where two IPL heavyweights, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will lock horns in match 31 of the IPL 2021. RCB had a brilliant first leg and won five of their seven games, while KKR, on the other hand, could manage just two wins. Both teams will be keen to start on a positive note.

Cricketer turned expert Aakash Chopra has put forth his predictions for this mouthwatering game. Chopra backed RCB to win and said that fast bowlers will end up with more than four wickets in the match. Both teams are laced with some quality pacers, including the likes of Lockie Ferguson, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna among others.

“Fast bowlers to take more than four wickets,” Chopra was quoted as saying on his YouTube channel..

The former batter further backed spinners, Varun Chakravarthy and Yuzvendra Chahal to pick more than three wickets. Both spinners have a point to prove. While Varun will be keen to justify his selection in the World Cup squad, Chahal would want to make a statement after being left out of the same. “Varun Chakravarthy and Yuzvendra Chahal to pick up more than three wickets,” he stated.

Chopra also said that RCB skipper Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers will score more than 60 runs in the match. “Kohli and AB de Villiers will score over 60 runs combined,” Chopra said.

Two teams have met before in the ongoing season where a blistering half-century by AB de Villiers paved way for a 38 run win for RCB.
