Best XI of ITL Captains (Source: Twitter)
The top T20 players in the world are currently competing against one another in the Indian T20 League (ITL), which is a unique city-based franchise competition. Being the captain of an ITL squad is challenging because many nationalities are represented in the starting lineup. Certain cricketers, though, thrived in this role and had great success in it. We'll examine the top playing XI in this article, which includes 11 of these individuals who have led an ITL squad.

Only three captains have won more than one Indian T20 League trophy, and Gautam Gambhir is one of them. In 2012 and 2014, the left-handed batter helped the Kolkata franchise win the title with immaculate leadership. He captained Kolkata and Delhi in 129 games, winning 71 of them. In this team, Gambhir and Sachin Tendulkar will bat first. The Mumbai franchise were led to the 2010 ITL Final by Tendulkar. He was the first player in the league to get the Orange Cap while handling the captaincy of a side.

Together with Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Mumbai franchise, MS Dhoni, the leader of the Chennai franchise, and Virat Kohli, the former captain of Bangalore, will bat in the middle order. Kohli oversaw Bangalore in 140 games, winning 64 of them. Under his leadership, the side reached the Indian T20 League final in 2016. Sharma and Dhoni are arguably the two most successful captains of the coveted franchise league. Sharma has captained MI to five championships, whereas Dhoni has guided CSK to four.

The team's two allrounders will be Yuvraj Singh and Shane Watson. With 21 victories in 43 games, the spin allrounder Singh led the Punjab and Pune franchises over several seasons. All-around pace bowler Watson led the Bangalore franchise and the Rajasthan franchise in 24 matches, winning eight of them.

Along with former Rajasthan captain Shane Warne, former Mumbai captain Harbhajan Singh will direct the team's spin attack. Singh served as MI's first-ever captain. Warne was the first captain to lift the Indian T20 League trophy, while Singh captained Mumbai for 20 games, achieving 10 victories.
Both fast bowlers, Shaun Pollock and Zaheer Khan, round out the team. As ITL captains, neither pacer had lengthy runs. In four games, Pollock led Mumbai to victories in three of them. Acting as Delhi's captain, Zaheer prevailed in 10 of the team's 23 games.
Here's the final Playing XI - Gautam Gambhir, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Shane Watson, Harbhajan Singh, Shane Warne, Zaheer Khan and Shaun Pollock.
