Indian T20 League 2022: Top 10 memes from the Lucknow vs Hyderabad game

Hyderabad are yet to win their first game of the Indian T20 league 2022. Lucknow managed to beat them by 12 runs. The KL Rahul-led side have now won two out of their three games, and looks like a formidable unit.

After winning the toss and electing to field first, Hyderabad's bowlers were superb in the powerplay overs. They managed to dismiss the likes of Quinton de Kock and Evin Lewis in a matter of 10 deliveries. Manish Pandey didn't last long either as he too perished.

The onus was on Rahul and Deepak Hooda. Both didn't disappoint as they played the rescue act to perfection. While the batting all-rounder was dismissed for a superb 51, the Lucknow skipper made a brilliant 68 off 50 balls.

It is to be noted that this was his first half-century of the Indian T20 league 2022. Thus, the Lucknow-based franchise got to 169-7 in the first innings. Despite losing both their set batters (Rahul and Hooda), Ayush Badoni and Jason Holder played handy cameos to ensure that their side get to a respectable total. In reply, Hyderabad's top-order were once again underwhelming.

However, Rahul Tripathi stood strong, and continued to play the big shots. His intent to continuously find the boundary managed to impress one and all. Yet, he was dismissed after scoring 44 off 30 deliveries. When it comes to Lucknow's bowling, then Krunal Pandya and Avesh Khan were superb. Despite the pressure piling up on the orange army, Nicholas Pooran and Washington Sundar were still getting the runs without breaking a sweat. Just when the match seemed to be going away from Lucknow, Khan got them back in the game with a match-winning over

During the 18th over, he picked two wickets, which included that of the dangerous Pooran. At the end, the Kane Williamson-led side fell short of their target by 12 runs.
