Indian T20 League 2022: Rajasthan unveil official jersey ahead of new season

Rajasthan franchise of the Indian T20 League have unveiled their new jersey ahead of the 15th edition of the tournament. It is to be noted that the league is all set to commence on March 26 and all the teams have already started their preparation.

As a matter of fact, several teams have already unveiled their jersey for the upcoming edition. Meanwhile, for Rajasthan, the colour pink is the dominant one in their new jersey. Since 2019, the franchise have always had pink as their main colour.

This time, their jersey consists of complete pink in the front side. Contrary to the jerseys in the previous three editions, the shades of blue are only on the sleeves. Thus, the players of the franchise will be seen in a new look this time around.

The pictures of the new jersey went viral in no time. The fans absolutely loved its texture, and design. It will be exciting to see if the new jersey brings in new luck for the team. They are still in search of their second title.

In the meanwhile, few of the Rajasthan players have already reached the team hotel in Mumbai to prepare for the 2022 edition. Players like Yuzvendra Chahal, Navdeep Saini, Shimron Hetmyer and Devdutt Padikal were recently seen checking in the hotel. The official Twitter account of Rajasthan posted images of the same. Their captain Sanju Samson has also landed in the city.

Rajasthan's COO Jack Lush McCrum had earlier spoke about the squad. He said that they were satisfied with the kind of side they had. He was hopeful that they could win the title this time around.

"We think we have done that with building this squad. We've got quality Indian players; we have four players who are consistently in the Indian national team. Our overseas players are also available throughout the season and very talented individuals. There's a good balance to the side. We want to be competing near the top of the table, and we want to win as many games as possible for our fans, and hopefully, we will be lifting the trophy at the end of the season," he said, as quoted by The Daily Guardian.
