Meanwhile, according to a report by TOI, it has been understood that the upcoming series against South Africa will have a no-bubbles in place. This is a big development as there hasn’t been a single series where India have participated without bio-bubbles in place since the start of the 2020 pandemic.

The Indian Cricket Board, however, is confident that the upcoming series against South Africa can be conducted without bio-bubbles in place. In the ongoing edition of the Indian T20 League, all the 10 teams had different bio-bubbles and the players too had to undergo a three-day quarantine before entering the bubble.

Despite that, a few cases emerged in the Delhi Capitals’ squad but things were managed with relative ease. The tournament has reached the final and the Indian Cricket Board has been credited for successfully organizing it despite the addition of the two new teams.
