India men's and women's team may travel to England together

In a rare occurrence, Indian men's and women's team could be on the same flight to England. The Indian team is set to play six Tests, including the summit clash of the World Test Championship and the five-match Test series against the hosts while the Indian women's team will take on their female counterparts for a one-off test, three ODIs and three T20Is.

Both teams are likely to reach Mumbai for a two-week quarantine from May 19. However, cyclone Tauktae might delay their arrival a bit. The two teams will reach England on June 2 and will undergo another 10-day quarantine.

ESPNcricinfo reported that the team members, except those who live in Mumbai, will start their quarantine from Wednesday while the remaining Mumbai residents including Indian skipper Virat Kohli, vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, Rohit Sharma and head coach Ravi Shastri will enter the bio bubble on May 24.
