The third season of the International League T20 (ILT20) starts on January 11, 2025, at the historic Dubai International Cricket Stadium with the Dubai Capitals taking on the defending champions MI Emirates in the opening match commencing at 7:15 PM local time.

The tournament will run for a month until February 9, 2025, featuring 34 high-stakes matches. Fans can expect the finest exhibition of T20 cricket at the moment.

The tournament organizers allow teams to swap players during the competition to counter injuries or unavailability, hence maintaining the quality of matches and fairness throughout.

This season sees a new feature in team rosters, with Phil Salt representing the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders as a Wildcard to bolster their batting unit. Also joining the sides is the Pakistan left-arm spinner Sufiyan Muqeem in place of Hassan Khan.

The MI Emirates have now signed Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar from Afghanistan, while Sri Lanka's Vijayakanth Viyaskanth is also set to don the colors of the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders. These changes should bring some depth and competition to the squad.
