Eight teams are participating in the ICC Women’s World Cup: India, Pakistan, Australia, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and South Africa.

The competition will take place in five cities: Bengaluru, Vizag, Indore, Guwahati, Navi Mumbai, and Colombo. On September 30, hosts India will meet Sri Lanka in Guwahati in the opening game. The final is planned for November 2 in either Navi Mumbai or Colombo. The second semi-final will be held in Navi Mumbai, while the location of the first semi-final is yet to be announced.

The ICC Women's World Cup 2025 will be played in a round-robin format, with all eight countries playing against one another. They will face each team once during the group round. The top four teams will advance to the semi-finals, with the final on November 2. The itinerary includes several key events, most notably the high-profile India vs. Pakistan match, which will be held in Colombo on October 5.
