2016 IPL champions Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) weren’t enjoying an ideal outing in the now-postponed 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). They were languishing at the last spot on the points table with just one victory from seven games. One of the main reasons behind the same was injuries to their pace attack.

SRH’s pace sensation Bhuvneshwar Kumar was in and out of the team owing to the injuries while their other speedster T Natarajan was ruled out of the entire league after sustaining a knee injury. After playing in just two matches, Natarajan suffered a knee injury that resulted in him bidding adieu to IPL 2021.

However, in the latest development, it is learned that the Tamil Nadu stalwart is recovering well and is looking forward to donning the Indian colors soon in the future. On Sunday, May 16, Natarajan posted a short clip on his official Instagram handle where he can be seen doing hardcore exercises at home to regain his 100% fitness.

Natarajan underwent a knee surgery in April and took to Instagram to give an update to the fans regarding the same. In a post last month, the speedster confirmed that his surgery went well while thanking all the fans and followers for their good wishes and prayers.

“Today, I underwent knee surgery- and am grateful for the expertise, attention, and kindness of the medical team, surgeons, doctors, nurses, and staff. I’m grateful to #bcci and to all that have wished well for me".

"The road back to the 22 yards is long. But I have taken the most crucial step today. Looking forward to coming back - stronger and fitter than ever before. Thanks to all of you for your support, blessings, and good wishes,” Natarajan had written.
