Former Indian opener Aakash Chopra made his first international appearance for the Indian team 18 years back in the year 2004 against New Zealand. He was known for his ability to face the new ball. Although, his international career couldn’t last long and he played only 10 Tests for team India.

Later on, he featured in seven matches of the Indian T20 League and bid adieu to all forms of cricket in 2015. Following his retirement, Chopra started a new stint in commentary and called out numerous matches for the last couple of years. He has emerged as one of the famous voices in Indian cricket.

Other than the commentary, Chopra also keeps posting things on social media and engaging with fans on various social media platforms.

Recently, a Twitter user went on to troll the former opener hinting at his short and unsuccessful career as a cricketer. “Please explain your career too. What is this? How can you talk about cricket? When you are a failed cricketer,” wrote the fan with a screengrab of Chopra’s international career.

“I googled you…found no career in cricket or otherwise. Going by your logic, how can you talk about me?? When you a ________ person in life? On a serious note: get a life, my friend Love you,” replied Chopra.

India in Australia for 20-20 World Cup 2022

Talking about cricket, the Indian team is currently in Australia and all set to play the 20-20 World Cup in 2022. The men in blue will begin their campaign in the tournament against the arch-rivals on the 23rd of October. Recently, Rohit’s men played and won their first warm-up match against Western Australia XI ahead of the main round of the tournament.

Other than the World Cup, the b-string Indian team has won the three-match ODI series against South Africa by a margin of 2-1.
