Babar Azam and Virat Kohli are considered to be modern-day greats in the cricketing fraternity. However, a few fans are always on their feet to disagree with the claimed fact that the Pakistani skipper is great. Nevertheless, the duo always admire each other on the field and off the field as well.
The fan war is active on social media, and Twitter, in specific, as fans find one point or the other to keep coming up with trolls. Fans from India claim the Pakistan skipper to be great only against Zimbabwe. Fans from the other side of the border claim that Virat Kohli is a failure in knockout matches.
Mohammad Yousaf, the former Pakistani great, shared a picture where his son can be seen standing alongside Babar Azam and Virat Kohli. The former player uploaded the image on Twitter and captioned it “My son with two modern-day greats”.

Virat Kohli and Babar Azam fan war
Despite the ongoing fan war, the duo has maintained decency whenever the two interacted. Fans can never forget the moment when Babar Azam came up with a post for Virat Kohli prior to the Asia Cup 2022.
The highlight of the tweet was Virat Kohli’s reply as the latter admired his Pakistani counterpart for his consistent performances. Albeit the Indian veteran lies far ahead of the Pakistan skipper in terms of runs and centuries, the Pakistan star is chasing him like a beast.
The fan war became active yet again once Mohammad Yousaf came up with the tweet. Fans trolled the former player for calling Babar Azam a great. They further questioned his performances and called him ‘overrated’. This did not go well with the Pakistan fans and they hit back trolling the Indian great.
Needless to say, the two have been good for their nations and they have fared out to be well. The two greats would hope for the fan war to end at some point in time albeit it looks impossible at the moment.
Here we bring you some of the tweets from fans where they trolled Babar Azam:

Your Son with One Great who knows how to click pictures, kept hand on your son's shoulder , made him feel comfortable
And your son with a good cricketer , who will become great ( let's see ) with absolutely no idea on how to greet.
Personality speaks.
Babar is a very good player but not a great yet. Hasn't played enough games and performed consistently for years and his average has an abnormal spike when playing weaker teams. Kohli's is consistent across opponents and across the years he played
