The Indian T20 league is unarguably one of the most entertaining T20 leagues in the world. Over the years, there have been several partnerships between batters that have managed to bring a smile to the faces of all the cricket fans. There are numerous instances where two batters have joined forced to completely demolish the opposition. Today, we shall be taking a look at the highest partnerships for all wickets in the history of the Indian T20 league.

1) Jonny Bairstow and David Warner- 185

The explosive duo added 185 runs for the opening partnership. It came against Bangalore in 2019. This partnership ensured that the orange army win the game rather comfortably. Both Bairstow and Warner got to their respective centuries as well.

2) Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers- 229

This is the highest partnership in the history of the league. May 14 2016 was when AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli came together to cause complete mayhem. The Gujarat bowlers had no answers to the duo. They added 229 runs. Although the Bangalore duo has had many historic partnerships, this has to be the most iconic one.

3) Cameron White and Kumar Sangakkara- 157

Kumar Sangakkara and Cameron White were the backbones of the now-defunct Hyderabad Chargers. During a game against the now-defunct Pune franchise in 2012, the duo added 157 runs for the third wicket in Cuttack. After posting 186/4 in their first innings, they won the game by 13 runs.

4) Shimron Hetmyer and Gurkeerat Singh Mann-144

After having a rather dismal season, Shimron Hetmyer joined forces with Gurkeerat Singh Mann to end the season on a high. The duo added 144 runs for the fourth wicket. It was against Hyderabad in the 12th edition of the league. Both scored their respective half-centuries as well.

5) Shakib Al Hasan and Yusuf Pathan- 134*

Shakib Al Hasan and Yusuf Pathan put on 134 runs for the fifth wicket. The fact that it came during a batting collapse made it even more special. While Kolkata were 24-4, the all-rounders ensured that their side get to a respectable total. However, Gujarat still ended up winning the game.

6) Ambati Rayudu and Kieron Pollard- 122*

Rayudu and Pollard have won several games for Mumbai. This one saw them score 122 runs against Bangalore. During a big chase, the two batters were at their absolute best as they made sure that their team wins the game.

7) Jagadeesha Suchith and Harbhajan Singh- 100

Although Mumbai did win the 2015 edition, they didn't really have a great start to the tournament. During the early days of that edition, Mumbai had a batting collapse against Punjab in a match. Then, Suchith and Harbhajan Singh put up 100 runs for the seventh wicket. The offie scored a fifty as well.

8) Brad Hodge and James Faulkner- 69

Brad Hodge and James Faulkner have had many memorable partnerships during their time at Rajasthan. However, this was a special one as it came against Mumbai. Although they lost the game, both scored 69 runs together.

9) Sam Curran and Imran Tahir- 43

The 2020 edition was a forgettable one for Chennai. This game wasn't memorable for them either as they were struggling to score 100 runs against Mumbai. However, Sam Curran and Imran Tahir salvaged some pride as they scored 43 runs for the ninth wickets. Despite losing the game, Curran won a lot of hearts for his performance.

10) Tom Curran and Ankit Rajpoot- 31*

Tom Curran and Ankit Rajpoot scored a 31-run partnership for the last wicket against Kolkata. This was when they were playing for Rajasthan in 2020. Their efforts weren't enough as their side still lost the game.
