Here's the scenario if semi-final between India and England gets abandoned due to rain

Rohit Sharma-led team India will be back there to play in Adelaide once again the eighth edition of the 20-20 World Cup. The men in blue will cross swords with none other than Jos Buttler’s mighty England who has been in fine touch throughout this edition of the World Cup except for an unexpected defeat against the lowe-ranked Ireland.

So, the stage is all set for a high-octane clash between two cricketing powerhouses India and England. But the weather has also been a concern for cricket fans throughout this entire World Cup as a couple of matches have been abandoned due to the rain. Having said that, the fans may be also in concern that what would be the solution if rain happened to play a spoilsport in the second semi-final of the tournament.

Although there is a piece of relieving news for the fans as the rain is not expected on the 10^th  of November (the match-day) at Adelaide Oval.

“Partly cloudy. Winds westerly 15 to 25 km/h turning southwesterly in the late afternoon,” understands the prediction of the MET department for Thursday.

The temperature scale in Adelaide is expected to be there at 16 degrees alongside 81 percent of humidity and 35 percent cloud cover throughout the game in the evening.

Here's the solution if the match gets hampered by rain

Notably, all three knockouts (both semi-finals and final) have the reserve days there in the roster. Although reserve day will be considered only in case 10 overs per side won’t go possible on the match day of the semi-finals and final.

If in any case, the match happened to cross the 10 overs per side and rain play a villain, then the winning team would be declared on the same day of the match and it won’t be taken to the reserve day.

Speaking of the tournament, Pakistan has become the first team to reach the finals of the eighth edition of the 20-20 World Cup after outclassing Kane Williamson's New Zealand. The men in green clinched a comfortable win by seven wickets to make a cut to finals of the marquee tournament.
