Rohit and Boult are good friends outside the field as they play for the same franchise in the Indian Premier League. While Rohit is the skipper of the Mumbai Indians, Boult joined the franchise during the 2020 edition and is an important part of their seam attack.

Thus, many cricket fans are looking forward to seeing Boult bowling to Rohit at Southampton. Rohit is quite positive about the clash against the Kiwi pacer as he hailed Trent as a quality bowler. The Indian opening batsman reckoned that during the game, Boult will ask questions with his the ball and his job is to answer them.

Mumbai Indians took to their official handle to share Rohit’s views on facing up Boult in England. “We’ve had banter during IPL nets, he’s a quality bowler. It will be nice to face him. He’ll ask me some questions with the ball, and I’ll answer them,” Mumbai Indians quoted Rohit as saying.

Rohit has been quite impressive during India’s stint in the WTC cycle from 2019 to 2021. The 34-year-old has scored a stunning 1030 runs in 11 matches at an average of 64.37.
